How did you get started on this road of business? What began it all, and what did the path look like along the way?
From a young boy in high school, I watched my neighbors work out and occasionally joined them lifting weights. The passion of fitness grew on me and was my regimen to relieve stress. After years of training and getting involved with marital arts, I decided to start my own business, KP Total Body. For an art that is often misunderstood, it taught me the lessons of discipline and how to change my mindset of which now I can pass along to my clients.
Give us some business advice or one success tip in your field.
Eat clean, drink water, and exercise. Everyone should want to live a healthy lifestyle. 80% of getting fit is about what you eat. If you cannot workout everyday, at least get some type of exercise in each day. You can walk during your lunch break or park far at your job to get your body pumped.
What has been the hardest part of being a business owner?
There are challenges that come up and you have to make the right decision. Making the wrong decisions or making hasty decisions can jeopardize your business and hurt you in the long way.
What’s in store for you this year?
This year I plan to provide online fitness services. This way individuals that are not local and want to train with me will have the opportunity to do so. I have quite a few people who have been waiting for this. It’s coming!!
What is one thing that you are proud of, in relation to your business or personally?
I am proud that I have been in business for 10+ years. Maintaining a business and being able to attract new clients is not easy, but it has been working for me so I am thankful.
