How did you get started on this road of business? What began it all, and what did the path look like along the way?
It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine. Just kidding but I did have an idea of my contribution to the world at an early age. I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since middle school. By the time I hit high school, I knew I wanted to work with business owners. It wasn’t easy. Even though I knew what I wanted to do, I didn’t do what I need to do to get there. Rather than go to law school after college, I spent four years working a pretty good job and taking care of my daughter. I remember sitting in my office when a tenant came in to turn in her notice that she was breaking her lease. I asked why she was moving because I knew she was in law school. She told me that the law school in Montgomery had a part time program and just received their accreditation. Three weeks later I had submitted my application, toured the school, and the rest as they say is history.
